My Project

I am requesting help in providing an alterative learning environment for students. Individuals do not fit in standardized categories. Sitting in a chair at a desk doesn't always suit students. Having worked in both general and exceptional education, I have found that students work best when comfortable.

My hope is to be a trendsetter in my school, opening the doorway to individualized learning.

I plan to provide alternate seating (beanbag seats, balance ball seats, and cushions) within my class. I already have some means of alternate seating but not nearly enough. My classroom size averages to 27 students per class period.
