Exceptional Classroom Essentials

Help me give my students Elmer's glue sticks, pencils, erasers, bouncy bands, fluorescent light covers, wiggle seats, electric pencil sharpener, synonym/antonym teaching materials, and sensory items to support my special education classroom students with differentiated learning needs.

My Students

We are energetic, courageous, bold and proud 4th and 5th graders! We love to learn and have fun, even though at times our disabilities can cause us many frustrations and make us work much harder than our peers.

My classroom is designed for lower level students with a wide range of exceptionalities.

We need frequent redirection, praise and encouragement to keep us motivated to reach our daily, weekly and monthly goals. We work on a multitude of daily tasks including social skills, math, reading, and writing.

My Project

My students need basic classroom materials such as glue sticks, pencils, and erasers to complete paper/pencil work and interactive notebooks that we use weekly in the classroom. In addition, my students have a variety of learning abilities. They need sensory and fidget tools to help support their school day and learning environment.

Student engagement will occur in my classroom with these necessary essentials to assist my students as they learn with a variety of social, emotional and learning disabilities.

Being busy in the classroom does not equal engaged; however, my students will be productive and learn by having their social, emotional, behavioral and academic needs met.
