Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students have many opportunities to use school provided chromebooks. We have reading programs, math programs, as well as many other programs such as Nearpod, Blooket, and Kahoot that effect all subjects. In order to engage students and provide the best possible learning experience, most of these programs feature sounds.
With these headphones, students will be able access all of the content they might need, without distracting or impacting other students.
These headphones with the built in microphones will allow students to practice reading, watch instructional videos, and access speech to text opportunites without interrupting other students doing the same thing.
Over the course of several years, testing dividers get damaged and lost. These extra dividers will foster greater concentration and effort as students are assessed on their learning.
