This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

My students are currently learning about fossils and are intrigued about the excavation process, I would enjoy being able to allow my students the experience to dig up their very own fossil. My goal for this project is to allow for students to have a hands on activity when learning about fossils. This kit would make a difference in my students learning because they are actually able to enact what a paleontologist does in their very own classroom. My students are special not only for their learning capabilities but also how flexible and understanding they are with the lack of supplies given to them. They make use of what I can offer and never complain. This opportunity will allow for the students to feel special while still learning.
