My Project

Ozobots can significantly enhance student learning in my digital literacy class by enhancing student coding skills by introducing students to coding concepts in a fun and interactive way, helping them develop computational thinking and problem-solving skills. It encourages creativity and innovation as students design and program various paths and behaviors for the robots, fostering innovation and experimentation. Using Ozobots requires students to think critically about sequencing, patterns, and logical reasoning, which are essential skills in digital literacy and beyond. Students can work collaboratively on coding challenges and projects with Ozobots, promoting teamwork and communication skills.

My goals for this project include empowering students to become confident digital creators and problem solvers and foster a love for learning and exploration in the field of technology and digital literacy.

I plan to provide hands-on experiences that bridge theoretical knowledge with practical application and create a dynamic and engaging learning environment that encourages curiosity and growth.

What makes my students special is their enthusiasm for learning, their diverse perspectives and backgrounds, and their willingness to embrace new challenges and experiences. They are creative, resilient, and eager to explore the world of digital literacy and technology.
