Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Being a Positive Support Coach allows me to work with students across all grade levels & who are in the regular classroom, special education classroom, and English language learner classroom. I also work with students in specialized programming in their least restrictive environment.

Developing a cohesive, school-wide system gives students the support they need to be successful in the classroom.

Students have equal access to educational opportunities in each of their learning environments where all students are valued, safe, and loved.

The materials will help our building use the systematic approach to Tier 2 and 3 behavioral intervention, Check In - Check Out. Students need materials to make this successful, including folders and prizes, laminating pouches and Velcro for social stories, and crates to hold supplies. The materials will help set up students for success. This intervention also supports positive communication with families AND has shown an increase in improved attendance!
