The Class of 2020 is hardworking, driven, and passionate! They have come this far after 12 years of school they are finally here!
They are taking the SAT and/or ACT, applying to colleges and jobs, working part-time jobs, submitting scholarship applications, filing their FAFSA, and everything else senior year entails!
EVHS serves many low-income students and our school funds are tight. Our cyclones are hard workers and may not be celebrated all of the time in the way that they should be.

My Project
My name is Ms. Wood and I am the new college adviser at EVHS!
We are hosting our national Decision Day as a celebration for our seniors who are going into the workforce and continuing their education in trade school or college/university!
Decision Day will be a time where all students can celebrate their life after high school! Our school has participated in Decision Day before but never to this magnitude! The items on the wish list will be distributed to seniors as raffle prizes for attending a college, having a job/resume, or enlisting in the military!
My hope is that Decision Day will bring the class of 2020 together as a community and help make all of our seniors feel appreciated, celebrated, and excited for the new chapter!
