This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
"Children with special needs paint the world with beautiful colors each day." -Author Unknown
My classroom is a warm and inviting space where all students are encouraged to try their best and use their unique colors in ways that teach others.
My students don't have disabilities, but rather each one of them has unique abilities that color the world around them.
They are inspirations to the staff and peers within our school community. My students are enthusiastic about learning and want to try their best.
My Project
Creating materials that are engaging to my students is a priority in my classroom. My students' unique abilities require differentiated learning opportunities and materials, hands on activities, and colorful representations of real world situations. A color printer would allow me to provide my students with the necessary materials for their success. In addition, students would love the chance to type their writing and print a colorful picture to go with their writing.
Thank you to anyone who chooses to donate towards this project.
As the title of the project says, "Everything is Better in Color." My students color the world around them with their individual abilities. They have been limited in their access to color materials as the school does not have a color printer. Donations will benefit the classroom by allowing me to provide students with the differentiated learning materials to meet each of their unique abilities. Thank you again!
