My Students

I teach 5th Grade Science and Social Studies to approximately 70 students. Our school is located in the northern panhandle of West Virginia. We service a rural area and many of our students are of low socioeconomic status. This is an inclusive classroom full of diverse learners. My students love to participate in science experiments and to learn in ways that are hands-on. My students are truly grateful and appreciative of any financial support you are able to provide to our classroom to enhance our learning!

My Project

I am asking for a classroom set of the text "Everything You Need to Know to Ace American History in One Big Fat Notebook." I am always looking for ways to make American History interactive and engaging for my students. These books will help me to achieve that goal. These textbooks relate to middle school age students through using fun pictures and cartoons. This text also presents complicated information in a simplified way that students easily comprehend.

These texts will be used weekly in our classroom and will be an essential part of our curriculum.
