This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

These fluorescent light covers will help cover up the harsh lighting in my classroom. Many of the students in my class wear glasses or struggle with migraines/headaches. The lighting in the room does not aid in making these problems better, only worse. Most days we have to limit the light use in my class by turning some off but the lack of light makes it hard to work in.

By using these covers I can use all of the lights in my room while also making it easier for my students to work.

Since I am an AVID classroom, most of my students are using their time to prepare for their future. I want them to be able to do this successfully and pleasantly.
