it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
This school year, I am focused on incorporating more team building games/activities within our physical education classes. I am requesting medicine balls to assist in our PE fitness unit, paddles and handballs to assist in our team building games including team transport and giant Jenga!
By working as a team, my students will develop important life skills like problem solving, listening, leadership, and creative thinking during physical education classes.
Nurturing teamwork skills also develops higher levels of self-confidence, self-esteem, empathy, and compassion. Introducing new activities/games will hopefully keep my students engaged in physical education, propelling them to increase their fitness levels!
