Everything is better in color when you are in first grade!
I teach a vibrant and loving group of first graders this year.
They love to explore and learn new skills. They are very active and love to be on the move. Our school is in a small, rural town in Tennessee. My school currently enrolls just under 1,000 students from Pre-K to 4th grade. The majority of our students receive free and reduced price lunch.
Learning can be boring if it is all black and white. My class would love to have a color printer so that we can print our newsletter, handouts and worksheets in color. With a color printer, we can print worksheets for independent work and group work. We can also create projects on the computer and print them out.
In first grade, it can be a difficult task to keep students' attention.
With a color printer, I can print worksheets that will catch the eye of the students' right away and keep the students' engaged in completing the assignment.
