it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I love teaching because it allows me to make a meaningful impact on children’s lives every day. Watching students grow academically, emotionally, and socially is one of the greatest rewards of this profession. I treasure the moments when a concept clicks, confidence blooms, and students recognize their potential. Teaching gives me the chance to create a safe, supportive space where every child feels seen, valued, and empowered. It’s a calling that challenges me to keep learning and leading with compassion, and I am honored to play a role in shaping young lives.
In our classroom, students do not have individual desks to store their materials, which often leads to clutter and distractions.
Seat organizers will provide each student with a personal space to keep essential items like notebooks, folders, and pencils within reach. This small change will help students stay organized, reduce transition time, and foster responsibility for their belongings. A more organized space means more time focused on learning.
Additionally, a classroom rug will give students a central, consistent spot for group lessons, meetings, and activities. Without desks, the rug will help establish personal space, promote classroom routines, and support a sense of community. It transforms the classroom into a warm, inviting place where students feel calm, safe, and ready to learn together.
