My Students

I am the art teacher at a Northern Ohio charter school for students who have been diagnosed with ADHD and/or Asperger's Syndrome (mild autism). Our school is a special education program founded on the principle that any child can learn given the proper learning environment and tools. I teach 193 students at all grade levels (K-12). I love my teaching assignment!

My students come from a variety of backgrounds and home situations.

Last Spring we had a project funded on Donorschoose.org that made a huge difference in the lives of many of my students. We had an HP Officejet 6500 printer donated and I had no idea how much it would get used in the art room! I have noticed that many of my students want to make copies of their artwork to take home to share with both parents, even when they live in different homes. The excitement over being able to share multiple copies of artwork with grandparents and separated parents has us spending a lot of our supply budget on replacement ink.

My Project

I would like to be able to continue to provide my students with the opportunity to share their artwork with family members (who may not always live under the same roof). In addition to copying artwork, many students utilize our printer to reproduce original digital art they create on the computer. Younger students enjoy printing of coloring pages they find on the internet I am asking for five black printer cartridges and one each of cyan, yellow, and magenta replacement cartridges for our art classroom printer. These high quality cartridges are able to print more than 500 pages each.

Please help my happy, huggable, and hyper students continue to share their beautiful artwork with family and friends. These ink cartridges will bring so much happiness to our art-making experiences!
