This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
ESGI is software that assess student learning. It's an amazing tool for assessing and for analyzing data. The best thing about ESGI is that it can print out parent letters, explaining exactly what I asked and what their child knew or did not know. It will even generate flash cards to send home with each student. Parents are such a huge part of every student's learning and I want to include them as much as possible.
I teach at a very diverse school and have many immigrant and refugee students.
It can be difficult to communicate with parents when I don't speak the same language. ESGI can help with that! They provide a way to print parent letters in many languages, allowing all parents to participate in their student's learning!
