My Students

The student-athletes in our Distance Running programs are some of the friendliest and happiest people in our high school. They understand the need and value of hard work and aren't afraid to go all-out in their quality workouts. With a growing team, our desire is to create a community that serves well beyond our school boundaries.

In the spirit of "Family," our growth-mindset Cross Country program is committed to bonding in character, grit, tactic, and fun.

Programs such as this one give students a place to belong and a niche in which to flourish.

LHS is in a community that has grown at an incredible rate (20% in the past 4 yrs), and according to the 2018 WASC report, is anticipating student enrollment to reach 2500 within the next five years. Teaching English and coaching is so rewarding. This is a great place to be and a worthy cause to invest in!

My Project

By donating to my project, our cross country athletes will be protected from rain, wind, and heat between races at our meets that sometimes can last for many hours. Not only that, but this project can act as a place to call "home" for the team to gather and support each other.

Lifelong friendships and memories can be fostered and strengthened as a result of your generosity and encouragement.

Being a part of something larger than one's self can remind each athlete of the importance of community, sacrifice, and unity. As each member is challenged to set and strive after goals, our team can change the world!
