This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are made up of 1st, 2nd and 3rd grade students with autism. They are at various reading levels and have a variety of interests. The books that I am requesting are part of different collection sets that are of different reading levels to meet the needs of my students. These collection of books will also provide a mixture of different topics for their age group. Also when assessing students with autism, it is important to have books that help them inquire more and to be able to understand feelings, emotions and character. Thank you for your support in our classroom.
