My Project

I love teaching music lessons that are centered around books. I read or sing a book and then turn it into music lessons and activities. Kids love learning a new song this way. This project will help me get the materials I need to teach a love of music and a love of literacy.

Students will be leaving music class singing songs like Wild Things to go along with Where the Wild Things Are, learning about emotions with the story The Happy Book, and singing Let Us Chase the Squirrel with the Busy Little Squirrel Book.

I am so excited to teach this new music to my students and share the love and joy I have for music and literacy.

Mrs. Swedberg will only receive her materials if this project is fully funded by July 27.
