Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My resource students have been working hard this year on their academic and social skills goals. A majority of them have mastered their goals or made progress. As the end of the year winds down, I would like to have some fun with my students with the aid of some new games.

These games will also come in handy with my social skills groups.

I use game play often during my social skills groups to foster the idea of being a good sport. Playing games also incorporates taking turns, being kind, following directions, and being patient. My students do not realize the skills they are learning and practicing when we play games, they think we are just having fun.

I would also like to give my students an end of year gift. All my students enjoy bubbles. This year I have given out mini bubbles as prizes, and my students get so excited to receive them. A huge bubble wand will surely bring delight to each one of them as I wish them a bubbly summer.
