Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I want to give to my students a culturally inclusive classroom where students with and without learning differences learn together and respect each other. The posters, banners, and bulletin board decorations will help me to create a friendly and encouraging environment where students feel safe and ready to take risks.
A classroom where everyone feels welcome is the best place for children.
Inclusive classrooms are welcoming and support the diverse academic, social, emotional, and communication needs of all students. The calming corner posters will help me to create a place where students can self-regulate feelings and be ready to learn.
I would love to provide my students with an environment where all students feel supported intellectually and academically, and there is an extended sense of belonging regardless of identity, learning preferences, or education.
