My Students
Our classroom consists of excited learners who are working toward reaching their goals each and every day!
My students have a contagious love of learning.
Every day begins with smiling faces walking through my classroom door. My students beam with excitement and are eager to learn from the moment the first bell rings. Each student inspires me to provide them with opportunities to be leaders of their own learning. I love being able to witness my students think critically, work collaboratively, and set goals for themselves. The best part about being a teacher is watching my students grow and become independent thinkers.
My Project
My students need hands-on activities to practice many literacy skills during independent reading rotations. Research shows that high interest transfers to high motivation. Hands-on games and materials will allow students to reach their own personal reading goals, while being provided differentiated instruction.
My students will be so excited to use these materials while independently working to reach their reading goals.
These hands-on manipulatives and games will provide students with opportunities to work collaboratively while practicing the necessary skills to become readers. Learning should be fun and with these classroom activities my students will be buzzing with enthusiasm about reading!
