Everyone Deserves a Voice- Building a Speech/Language Classroom
Help me give my students items that will help them improve their speech and language skills or allow me to provide them with more opportunities to participate in engaging activities in my classroom!
I am a speech-language pathologist serving a small rural school district. My students range in age from 2 years to 18 years! I currently serve 46 students across ages and skill levels. I am the first speech-language pathologist to work directly for this school district so I am busy building the best program to serve all of the students in my district!
My students love engaging in hands-on activities and projects that allow them to apply their skills in new contexts.
My students are creative and always willing and ready to learn! Watching them build their speech and communication skills everyday is the most rewarding job in the world!
My Project
These materials will allow me to work on important speech and language skills in my classroom through the use of engaging games and activities. I have students working on articulation goals and language goals who all enjoy working on craft projects using the dot paints and playing turn-taking games like Jenga and SpotIt!
These activities and supplies will allow my students to work on their target skills in a new context with new instructional materials.
The products that I have selected will allow me to create resources that can be used for years to come for student of all ages!
