My Students
I have a very diverse group of students. Many of them come from low income homes and do not have access to resources that they need. Therefore, these students need access to these resources at school where they have the support that they need.
My Project
The manipulatives I have requested will help my students get a better education. It will allow them to have hands on access for better learning and support. The students will be able to put their learning into real life situations to connect to. Connecting to their learning is the key to being successful.
My students will be more engage with hands on material such as base ten blocks to help with adding and subtracting.
They will also be able to visually see and hold fraction pieces to get a better knowledge of the given school material. Giving them many different learning ways keep them focused and on task. All these resources will also allow me to reach a large variety of students who each have their own unique way of learning.
