My Project
We have many new English Language Learners that need to read daily in their own language while learning the English Language. Everyday new students arrive from different countries speaking Spanish, Chinese, Arabic and French. Those first few months are cruial to their education and they need to keep up their reading skills by reading in their own language as they learn English.
Students need time to acclimate to this new and strange environment with some feeling of comfort.
Having books in their own language will provide students a sense of comfort in school .
