This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are amazingly talented. They don't let their difficulties slow them down. They persevere when given a challenge. As they grow, they see their potential.

My students want to get all that they can out of life, but they know, to do this, they need to learn all they can.

Many of them have started their lives in very difficult situations, but they are coming out the other side. With encouragement, there are no limits to where they can go.

My Project

With these licenses, my students will be given the tools they need to improve their reading skills. They are all in high school, where it is very difficult to work on basic skills because we need to work on keeping them up with their grade level peers.

Giving these students an extra boost with their reading skills is one of the most important gifts they can receive.

Having a Reading Plus Subscription that can reach the students at their level is so useful because it can individualize it for them. Once a student has that foundation, nothing can stop them.
