Help me give my students tools to create their own innovations. With these tools students can use their imaginations and innovate and create prototypes. We can create utilizing recycle goods with these tools and build and engineer anything.

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

We need more innovators!!! Today's students are tomorrow's innovators and leaders. I believe everyone can create and innovate, students can make a difference. I need materials to help teach 21st-century science and technology skills. After attending some training this past summer I learned some new ways to implement innovation and engineering into my classroom. Despite high-crime neighborhoods and economic challenges my students face, they are determined to follow their dreams. I need supplies for my class. So that I can offer them opportunity to learn new skills in developing prototypes and engineer with recycle goods.

In my class I provide hands-on learning that turns ideas into adventures through the world of STEM.

We lack tools and Tech Challenge Materials needed in designing and engineering. My students will be able to explore and learn by creating their own designs which incorporating STEM skills. Engaging in students in the engineering process and challenge base learning, experimenting, writing and creating new innovative solutions.

To help my students have brighter future I need tools to build and create that you would find in Makerspace. Materials to assist them in their learning journey and to teach them STEM skills. Today is the day to dream bigger.

My Project

We need the right tools so that we can build, design, create, and engineer with cardboard. If we have the right tools it will make it possible for the students to cut and fasten and build utilizing and recycling cardboard from our school.

Kids love to create and use their imagination with cardboard boxes!

The cardboard gets thrown into the recycle bin daily. We can save the cardboard and use it to create, students models. Students can engineer and then see their design come to life. This will then give students the opportunity to lead teams in building and construction process of creating larger structures. The Makedo are reusable fasteners for cardboard. The tools are student/kid friendly and approved for ages 4 and up. The cardboard scissors make it easy for students to cut cardboard independently so that they cut and create what they want safely.

The Cricut will be used to help the students add designs to their creations. Students can engineer and design and then have things cut out. I know that with the right tools students can learn critical thinking and problem solving skills that are necessary 21st century skills. These tools will help student complete STEAM projects in my classroom.
