My Students
I teach at an inner city school in New Orleans. Most of the scholars that I service are self-motivated and want to do their best in and out of the classroom. Being a middle schooler is one of the most difficult times for scholars. In my class, I try to provide scholars with a fun and innovative way of learning.
My Project
The items chosen for this project will allow scholars to create and solve various math tasks. The calculators will allow them to compute and check rigorous problems. The dry erase grid boards will help students to be able to neatly graph points on the coordinate grid. They will also help with not having to make multiple copies daily. The dry erase boards will also help students to be more engaged in the lesson and their problem-solving. The color printer will be used to allow students to print color copies for project-based math activities.
