Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The capable and intelligent students in my classroom will benefit from not having to continue to repurchase items for their everyday use. However, they often don't have everything they need to be successful in the classroom. I am always happy to help by buying whatever they need. All of the items on this list are things we use every day in Second Grade.

The students use pencils and erasers for all written work, and thumb hooks to keep their pencils on their desks.

They use colored pencils, crayons, and markers to add color to their illustrations. They use scissors and glue sticks for their vocabulary journals. Their fluency folders need page protectors for the passages. They use prong paper fasteners and Avery labels to adhere to their communication folders. They use headphones for the Chromebooks each day. They use Expo markers to practice spelling words and math problems. They use their mesh zipper bags to keep their desks organized.

Finally, we all keep ourselves healthy when using Lysol wipes and Purell each day!

If this project gets funded, then my class will have all the supplies they need for the entire year.
