Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

We are a Montessori school, and I teach students TK and Kinder. We use these materials everyday. The students love using water color painting, and drawing. They make their own artwork and express their learning using these tools. They like to get the sharpeners and sharpen the pencils themselves, some even offer to sharpen all of them. Students use their creativity to build with Legos and magnet tiles. The are so proud to show what they made. They even practice sharing with each other or building together.

A classroom is full of materials, even though these are everyday ordinary materials, they are important to have in the classroom to helps students be successful.

Students use the pencils, color pencils, journals, and letters for ELA. Either make a sentence, or drawing a story. They use the color beads and golden beads for math. These students need to tools and materials to help the learn and grow.
