This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

7th and 8th grade students learn about the interconnectedness of all the body systems and with so many different systems and parts there is a lot of information! Teaching the human body can be challenging to junior high students because they need to see models, diagrams, (3D and paper). This is an area that I am lacking in terms of adequate resources to teach students. We need to have resources readily available like The Human Anatomy, to visualize the inner workings of the body. The models of the major organs, heart, and lungs will help students see how the body functions.
