My Students

My 4th-grade students love using computers. My class is filled with 9 and 10-year-olds who love to be engaged in whatever they're working on. Our school is located in Herriman, Utah. I would like to give my students more opportunities to learn from technology.

By participating in technology activities, my students build resilience, teamwork, and experimentation.

Students who participate in technology, learn problem-solving skills that foster responsibility.

We live in a technology-based society, so students who participate in STEM activities are better able to stay current and innovative in the science, technology, engineering, and math fields. If I have headphones and wobble cushions available in my classroom, I can give my students opportunities to learn from technology and stay focused.

My Project

We use Chromebooks in our classroom at various times everyday to access educational websites and programs to enhance our learning. Most of the websites and programs we use have sounds and words, so students need their own headphones. I've asked parents to please provide headphones, but unfortunately, most parents have not been able to send them. Also, many of my students need fidget items to help them focus while in class.

With these new headphones, my students will be able to listen to the sound on websites and programs without disrupting their classmates.

My students will be more engaged if they can hear the words and sounds loudly and clearly with headphones. With the fidget cushions and rings, students will be better able to focus in class!
