My Students
The eighth-grade students within my school are outstanding. They are hard working, great critical thinkers and they love talking about the different variety of text in which I expose them to.
They are awesome and are similar to sponges absorbing new knowledge daily.
Every day my Eighth-Graders come to class prepared and curious to learn. We always complete a bell-ringer and start off our day with enriching vocabulary activities. These students are enthusiastic about learning and love it when I make learning fun for them.
My Project
The vocabulary books will enhance my students' lives by giving them a chance to build their vocabulary knowledge. My students have a desire to want to use higher level vocabulary to increase Northwest Evaluation Association Test Scores (NWEA).
These books help students master critical reading skills measured on the redesigned PSAT, ACT and SAT Test.
Students carry these books to class daily with pride.
Students will use their books nightly to study. Vocabulary will be introduced in a context of nonfiction science and social studies text with multiple exposures in a variety of engaging activities. My students need these books.
