My Project
Our hallway supports classrooms full of amazing early learners in a PreK–5 setting. Our Pre-K classrooms and resource rooms serve students with complex needs—including non-verbal students, children who are not yet potty trained, and students just beginning to learn English. Several of our students are also known for their curiosity and may try to “escape” to explore the world around them.
They are bright, resilient, and full of potential—our job is to give them the tools to thrive.
My Project:
This project will help us create a safe, language-rich, and sensory-supportive environment tailored to the unique needs of our students.
We are requesting materials that will:
Support communication for non-verbal learners through AAC tools and visual supports
Provide language-building resources for students learning English
Create a calm, engaging sensory space for self-regulation and focused learning
Promote potty training independence through visuals and hygiene tools
Ensure safety with visual boundaries and secure gates to prevent elopement
These tools will help our students express themselves, engage with learning, and feel safe and supported at school. With your help, we can build classrooms that meet our students where they are—and help them grow.
