Every Unit Is Better With Art: High School Edition!

My Project
My students may be high schoolers, but they still love it when they walk in and see our art supplies out and ready! We try our best to add an artistic element to each unit, with the goal of using our art supplies at least once a week. As of now, the colored pencils and markers stay in their old, worn-out boxes. We are in desperate need of caddies to keep our supplies clean and functional. Since we complete a few poster projects each semester, we are low on poster boards and do not have enough to finish our semester.
Keeping an artistic element in each unit stimulates their imagination and builds their problem-solving skills.
I love seeing how creative each group can be and listening to their conversation about what to add to the boards from the units, whether it be character-based or more comprehensive. They look forward to the artsy days!
