Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I have 54 sixth grade students in my math and science classes. These 54 students have been working very hard in their core classes throughout their academic career and as a result of their work ethic, they are currently learning mathematics at a seventh grade level.

My Project

Now, during these difficult times of Covid-19, some of my students do not have access to a Chromebook. Some of my students need this equipment in order to receive an online education or to participate in a virtual classroom.

With the requested Chromebooks, students will not only have the opportunity to participate in a virtual classroom but will also be able to do the work that is needed in order to continue with the education experience.

Furthermore, having access to Chromebooks will further develop my students' academic skills.
