Every Student Needs a Cubby of Their Own

My Project

My preschool students have a variety of special needs and benefit from learning together in a fun, active classroom. Each year we see more and more young children identified with delays in speech, cognition, motor skills, social emotional and/or adaptive skills. Last year I had more students than I had cubbies so three students had to place their belongings in boxes each day.

This year I will be starting with a full classroom and would like every student to have their very own cubby with their name on it.

Students keep extra clothing, diapers, wipes, backpacks and jackets in their cubbies. Children deserve to start their day by seeing their name and knowing they have a special place all their own in the classroom.
