This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Hello! I am a special education teacher and my students all have diverse needs. The light covers help those who are sensitive to lights, the headphones help those with auditory support, and the fidgets provide a way for students to move while engaging with the lesson.

The decorations help create a calming and welcoming learning environment which is so important for our students .

If they are comfortable in class then they are more likely to engage in the lessons. I have used fidgets and sensory tools in my class before and have seen how impactful they are.
