This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
Every morning after breakfast and calendar we sing our morning songs, but lately every song has skipped a beat!
I teach 25 energetic, ready to learn kindergartens.
For most of my students, this is their first school experience and I want for it to be a memorable one! Kindergarten sets the foundation for the rest of their educational careers and your donation will help me maximize their experiences. Our school is located in South Los Angeles, CA. We are a 100% Title 1 school, which means all of our students qualify for free meals.
My Project
We need a CD player. Our morning songs, our story CDs, and the music we listen to for fun and learning have been skipping. It's frustrating to try to sing along with the music when it constantly skips. We use the CD player many times throughout the day. It helps my kindergartners learn through music as well as have fun.
Music is very important for a kindergarten class because children learn things like counting, days of the week, letter sounds, and rhymes.
Your donations will help us listen to music a whole lot clearer. Thank you donors for all your support. Your donations are greatly appreciated.
