This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are some of the hardest working kids I've seen. Almost all of my students come from broken homes and poverty. I am blessed with the opportunity to be the best part of their day. They also bring me so much joy. They are fun and silly. They love coming to school and they love the relationship they build with me.

Every second counts in first grade.

To those outside of the classroom, the idea of gathering materials for the next task seems very simple however it is much different in the classroom. Teachers take special consideration of every movement in the classroom. How will they get materials? Where will the get the materials from? How will they put them away? All of these questions play a vital role in the instructional flow of the classroom. Teachers try to minimize distractions as much as possible. By providing this organizational tool at every table, students will be able to quickly get their materials and distractions will be minimized.
