This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
For children, school is not just a place where they gain knowledge — it’s where they build confidence, learn responsibility, and begin shaping their futures. But none of this can happen effectively without the right tools.
Let’s ensure every child has what they need, every day of the year.
Having school supplies throughout the entire school year is critical for student success. When children have access to what they need — not just in September, but all year long — they are better prepared to focus, participate, and stay organized. Missing even a single item can make a student feel frustrated, behind, or embarrassed.
Consistent access to supplies fosters independence and confidence. Students are more likely to complete their assignments on time and take pride in their work when they have the tools to do so. It also reduces stress and anxiety, especially for children from families who may not be able to afford replacements mid-year.
School supplies are more than just objects — they’re opportunities. Let's give them a fair shot at success.
