This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I love how curious, wiggly, and bright my kindergarteners are! They come to school every day ready to learn and grow, even when resources are limited. As a Title I public school, many of our families face financial hardships, and it’s not always possible to ask parents to help provide classroom materials. A large classroom rug will give each child a designated spot during circle time, helping them feel secure and stay engaged. It will also support a strong classroom community where every child feels included, valued, and ready to learn.
