My Project
I am doing a project to help create a better counseling environment for my students. Right now my current round table has duck tape on the legs and wobbles throughout the session. This often becomes a distraction during my lessons. A new table with white board on top, in which learning could literally take place on, would be a game changer.
During counseling sessions, it so important for students to feel safe.
This involves being a space that allows for privacy to share and work on difficult skills. At the moment, due to limited space at my school, I share an office with two other staff members. We were able to divide the room with the furniture provided but it is not enough. The divider in this project is the piece that would allow me to create that privacy wall.
