My Project

Earth Day has passed, but we've discussed the importance of the phrase "Every Day is Earth Day" in our class. My students enjoyed listening to read alouds about our planet, Earth Day, and how kids can help make a difference. The books I read in class lead to discussions about what kind of actions we should be responsible for taking each day to take care of our planet for future generations. I'd like to continue to grow that library.

My classroom is in need of a few reusable materials to help maintain our pledge to the climate and keep things running smoothly.

New reusable privacy folders will help future classes maintain focus while working and extend our productivity. Some of the students' personal use whiteboards are on their last leg, so a new set of whiteboards to replace those as they phase out will keep students engaged in their learning. A replacement pencil sharpener and bulletin board border will help round out this project and maintain our classroom functionality.
