My students need a document camera so that I can project the books we are reading and worksheets we are completing onto the board. The document camera allows them to follow along with me.

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My students love to learn. They are determined to complete their school work on time and master the different skills that I teach. A lot of them speak Spanish first, and English second. They are such a great group. They are always looking for new ways to participate in class and work together to achieve common goals.
My students absolutely love to engage in their lessons.
They want to be the best students they can be and I hope to help them become exactly that!
My Project
I will use the document camera to project books, articles, etc that we are reading in class and worksheets we are completing in class. Projecting the documents on the board allows my students to follow along more easily, especially my ESOL students. It would make a huge difference for them to be able to see what I am writing down and be able to work with me so we can accomplish tasks quicker and more accurately.
A doc cam makes following along and learning so much easier for all students!
I have always been provided with a document camera in my previous schools and have seen first hand how beneficial they are to the classroom. I hope to give my students here the same learning experience my former students were so privileged to have!
