My Project

The items I am requesting will provide the children with materials to support their creativity and self-expression. These will be used to explore color, texture, and design as well as support the children's individual creative expression and developing artistic style.

Early exposure to a variety of art mediums builds the foundation for further learning as the children begin their educational journey.

Children develop early writing skills every time they use a paintbrush. When children are mixing paint colors to make a new color they are practicing chemistry. Building a 3D object with clay requires planning and engineering.

My goal is to give children the materials they need to explore artistic ways to express themselves as individuals and through school community projects.
