My students need craft supplies to create models in science and a butterfly home to study life cycles.
FULLY FUNDED! Ms. Parsh's classroom raised $368

My Students
Do you remember art class as a kid? It was so much fun to create! Imagine adding that creative feeling to a science class!
My students are second graders in a big city in Maryland.
The school they attend is a public school that is low on funding. Most of the students eat a free breakfast and a free lunch at school. Their bodies are nourished, and their minds need to be nourished as well. They are excited about art, science, and learning.
My Project
If donors contribute to this project, my students will have access to science supplies. Many of the science kits in the building are old and outdated, or some supplies have just been used up. The art supplies, such as the clay and paint, will allow my students to create their own models of animal habitats during our unit of study. The butterfly home will give the students an opportunity to study the life cycle of a butterfly as it happens.
The students will have an opportunity to learn important science concepts in fun, hands-on ways.
This will keep them engaged in their own learning, as well as prepare them for the future.
Nearly all students from low‑income households
