This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
The students in my school showcase an incredible level of diversity in our district. Many come from families where income is a contributing factor to student supplies and materials.
My students often require supplies such as a Brother Desktop Scanner, pens, pencils, and other materials to help complete more advanced work in the classroom thus creating higher-leveled learning experiences.
My students, despite potential problems, take responsibility for their learning and often bring together classroom and real-world learning opportunities in a variety of ways. Additionally, my students want and have the desire to learn new and challenging things thus creating a personal connection to their future.
