Help me give my students rewards for their great choices! We need items for our monthly incentive store (the HEART Mart). Students will get to shop for items based on behavior points from their teachers.
This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Project
Our elementary school is a public charter school located in Little Rock, Arkansas. Each year, we greatly encourage positive behaviors and good choices. EVE is looking for donations for our school store. It's called the HEART Mart! HEART stands for Humility, Enthusiasm, Authenticity, Reflection, and Trust. We recite these values daily in our HEART pledge.
Placing importance on positive behaviors decreases office discipline referrals, increases our instructional time, and improves student performance.
Our main goal each day (besides academics) is creating and maintaining a healthy culture for students and staff members.
Each month, students earn points to shop in the HEART Mart. We are looking to keep our store stocked so it can be opened on a regular basis. Any donations to help us receive these sensory items will help! Thank you in advance for your support.
