My students come into the STEM class every day filled with energy, and eager to take part in the hands-on activities that our class provides them. For many of the students in my school, STEM is the best part of their day.
Our student population have a wide range of learning abilities.
Many of whom find it difficult to keep pace in other classes; these same students, however, flourish in STEM.
We're thrilled to move forward with our activities and experiments in Lego Robotics, Arduino, App Design, and Computer Science. Thank you for your support!
My Project
My students will use these LEGO EV3 kits to prepare them for our FIRST LEGO League Team. They’re thrilled to continue their work with hands-on STEM, and can’t want to start using the EV3 platform.

For many of the students in my school, STEM is the best part of their day.
Sadly, many of my students come from economically deprived neighborhoods in Harlem where crime is high as well. However, in spite of these enormous challenges, my students have thrived in their STEM classes.
They now need these EV3 Kits to take their STEM education to the next level. It is our desire that with the use of the EV3 kits, we will be able to build a community of learners who will want to compete, teach and build in their lives and communities through the use of Robotics. I believe the inclusion of EV3 kits will open doors for our students. We have seen tremendous social growth in our students who are enrolled in our STEM classes. Ultimately we would like to encompass all that our students have learned thus far and allow the usage of the EV3 kits to become the new direction of enhancing our STEM program.
For many of our students, this is their first experience/exposure to STEM where they are active participants. I know that with additional exposure using the EV3 kits, we will create a group of students who will create awesome projects, build great friendships and become better students.
