This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
My students are mostly minority students and most of them come from a low-income family background. They are very active and enjoy coming to school and learning science.
They are always ready to learn new skills and explore new opportunities but the unavailability of resources makes it hard for them to understand some of the abstract concepts that I teach; therefore, the need to explain the concepts in ways that make them real, captivating and interesting becomes imperative.
My students enjoy completing class projects that involve hands-on experiments, programming, art and research, which helps them express their understanding of chemistry concepts in their own way by creating new meanings of their discoveries.
My Project
My project is about helping my students get some snack, juice and personal items that would help them stay focused in school and at home. My students need jacket, caprisun juice, mott juice, shoe, Welch fruit snack and pop tarts to stay active and engaged in school and at home.
Research shows that good Nutrition helps students show up at school prepared to learn.
Therefore, I need your help to provide my students with jacket, Capri Sun Juice Drink, Strawberry Kiwi, Mott's 100% Fruit Punch, Shoe, Welch fruit snack and pop tarts, and sandals to stay active and enjoy coming to school. These supplies would really help motivate them and also improve their academic performance.
